Ramon Ray, editor of Smallbiztechnology.com rocked the house, as always, presenting the winners of this year's "sizzling" Hot Tech awards. With CRM expert, Brent Leary, Ramon showed some of the latest and greatest new technologies.The seven winners were selected from over 60 entrants.
We were most impressed by a great new Lexmark Pinnacle Pro 901 "All-in-One" (print/scan/copy/fax) device that is totally geared for the on-line era. See PC Mags review. It has a very impressive array of great features through Lexmark's "SmartSolutions" and "MyTouch" interface that let you manage document and content the way you want to. It also has a very low cost of ownership with inexpensive ink cartridges.
Its sleek black design also contribute to appeal to this hot new printer with a list price of just $299.00.
Next we got very excited about new SaaS applications from Broadlook Technologies. One called Broadlook Profiler lets you "leverage the internet as a dynamic data source, and mine deep web sources for key contacts and information."
Other winners included an exciting video production service by Pixability , an SMS (Short Messagae Service) marketing service from EZ Texting for delivering marketing offers to cell phones.
Another winner was SugarSync, a really awesome way to store and sync files and documents in the cloud, making them accessible to many people and from many places.
Last but not least is a true salvation for all those who suffer with creating Power Point Type presentations and for all those who have suffered through viewing them. SlideRocket an on line (SaaS) solution that breaths new and vital life into the prepartion and presentation of this kind of content.
